Splitting of the Moon

I think the splitting of the moon can make sense in a way.

It sounds to me like some level ones then became level threes:

The moon was split into two pieces while we were with the prophet in Mina. He said "Be witnesses" then a piece of the moon went towards the mountain.
Book 58 Hadith 209.

Sorry, but your sense free rationalisation shows that the moon splitting legend is itself senseless.

Same with the Quran. Does it speak of miracles or is it a miracle.
