I have one question for you - what purpose do you think this assignment serves?

I think the purpose of the assignment is to show us what people actually think about Christianity instead of just hearing our professor talk about it using some statistics from a book written more than 5 years ago.

Let me tell you: the questions you are asking (you were given) are still extremely loaded and biased. They make a lot of assumptions and show prejudices of the author. They take God, Jesus etc. as a given. This way, you won't get unbiased information about what people think of Christianity.
