Well then you must clarify when you think this flood happened and why.
Nope. A flood can be regional or a flood can be global. It cannot be both.
Then you are claiming a regional flood. Get your story straight.
Noah's original name was Sakar and he was the oldest man in the human race according to Islamic sources. It was in the people of Noah that the practice of idolatry first arose.
For us, the ark is a giant wooden ship but for Noah it was a simple rectangular wooden canoe. Yes, Noah and his people were literally "giants" and lived hundreds of years.
With the Sumerians, sedentary life is completed, when the independent city-temple (city-state) that exercised the government and control of a territory are born. We are talking about cities characterized by theocratic governments led by the so-called EN or "lord", which encompassed the political, religious and military power from its center of power that was the temple. The EN possessed a divine sovereignty, since it was the earthly representative of the divinity. This would continue with Egypt, where the supreme authority of the kingdom was the pharaoh who claimed to be the representative of the gods and who managed the temples where the rituals were performed.
A Ziggurat (temple) was built for the "gods" (annuna). These were not gods in truth but entities of the 4 Dimension (etheric plane). Humans usually inhabit the 3 Dimension. This Ziggurat served to contact directly with these entities of the 4th Dimension to receive knowledge, power and wealth. This is not free, in return humans should worship these entities and offer sacrifices. These entities are guardians (teachers) of knowledge and arts that humans cannot discover on their own in the three-dimensional plane.
With Sumer, the city is invented and this gives way to the first civilization or advanced society, in the city-state of Ur where the Ziggurat is located. Men immersed themselves again in idolatry after the Flood, except Abraham who was not fooled by these entities, false gods and preserved the memory of the true God in his heart (faith) and offspring, the God of Adam and Noah. Abraham emigrated to Jerusalem (Yeru-Shalam) and Egypt.
The Royal Sumerian List (Weld Blundell Prism) mentions 10 prediluvian kings. According to the List, the first king was Alulim who descended from Heaven to Eridu and reigned hundreds of years.
The word Eridu was probably the word that gave name to our home, the Earth; former German Aarde; Erthe in middle English, Era in Greek, Terra in Latin, Ereds in Aramaic, Arez or Eretz in Hebrew, ‘ard in Arabic,‘ ars in Ugaritic, Ersitu in Assyrian, Yer in Turkish, Kazakh and Uzbek. It seems that all these variants lead back to the first city, Sumeria. Another particle to designate (native) land or people is ma- or -k- or -t-.
Ur in the Sumerian language (eme-gir) means place, town, area, territory, ...
God says in the Quran that the Ark fell on Mount Yudi, in Turkey. Turkey is known for being the birthplace or cradle of civilizations.
Mount Yudi is 2,089 m (6,854 ft) high. On a physical map of the world, the recreation of the flood would consist of covering the lower areas of 2100 m high, the result will be a universal flood with more than 80% of the surface of the land covered with water.
I don't think the whole Earth was covered by water.

My point is that much of the environment is cancer causing including just being outside when its sunny
You cant get cured of cancer by moving away from bad habits. I call bullshit.
They died because of the lack of knowledge. A lack of knowledge that be largely laid at the foot of religion.
Faith in god actually leads to many needless deaths. Google it. People try to pray when they should be seeking real help. It seems to be mostly an American thing, but Im sure it other religions suffer from the same irresponsible mindset.
Yes, that's what I say, lack of hygiene is lack of knowledge. This is why God ordered to wash (ablution) oneself before praying. If you don't get away from bad habits you'll never know.
You are speaking in general. What help do you mean?
Unnecessary deaths by faith in God? No
