Musical Pope
Pissed? According to the Vatican he should enjoy it because pain is kiss from Jesus. Remember what Mother Theresa said about pain: “Pain and suffering have come into your life, but remember pain is but the kiss of Jesus – a sign that you have come so close to Him that He can kiss you.”
So why doesn't the Pope want to be kissed by Jesus?
And this quote was lifted straight from Vatican's website. But I guess it's one of those things that Vatican wants other people to go through but not them themselves. Because this is also what Theresa would say to dying people and not giving them any pain relief medication.

I'd be pissed too!

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
