I collect Saturn cars - specifically SC2s. Why? I dunno - mom dropped me on my head one too many times as a kid? Whatever.
So I have wanted a 2001 - in yellow. They are somewhat scarce - and I have been beaten to the punch with someone else buying it before I did - by minutes in 2 cases.
I got one last fall -but it needs some body work.
Then I found another one on Craigslist - about 90 miles from me - for $350. Dirt cheap. It needs a bit of work - but nothing extensive - and I have the parts.
I contacted the owner by email - and they said they already had someone coming at noon today.
I applied Rule #10.
I offered $375.
They said to be there at 9 am... We were with a truck and a tow dolly.
The car is in remarkably good shape - and runs excellent. It's now in my driveway.
