Left a few minutes early this morning and stopped at the grocery store. Picked up some bananas and a couple packages of tuna and broth for soup. Went to check the TP situation...the store had been open about 45 minutes. There was no TP but there was a stock of some weird off-brand paper towels.
Went to the adjoining gas station and the guy in the kiosk there pointed to the grocery store and said, "Don't go there, it's nuts." I told him I had just left and it seemed okay. He said there were people lined up well ahead of the 6:00 am opening (in the rain) who were going in couples and/or family groups and each were buying the limit of three of the TP. Some were dashing out to their cars and then back in to buy the limit again.
People really suck.
