Was Bruce Wayne truly innocent?

Was Bruce Wayne TRULY innocent in the deaths of his parents?

Think about it.

- They decide to leave the theatre early, but instead of going out the brightly lit entrance, they leave by a side door into a dark, dingy alley.

- There just happens to be someone waiting in that alley for them.

- As important people in Gotham they were likely instantly recognisable to anyone they met.

- On the pretext of robbing them, the assassin shot both but conveniently left a witness.

And who us the one who will benefit from their deaths? Bruce.

I think his parents discovered his obsession with the night, with bats, and with dangerous activities andcwere going to have young Bruce committed to Arkham.    But he found about it and arranged the hit.

Hero, my arse!

I am a serious thread.  Don't fuck it up, Iggy!
I suspect the Butler.

Mr and Mrs Wayne would have written in their will : "In the event of our deaths, and before Bruce has completed University, we grant our beloved butler, Alfred,  Full Power of Attorney to conduct all financial affairs, with all good intentions for Bruce, until such time when Bruce can assume full control over the families vast business fortune."

Then Alfred diverts all the fortunes to his own secret accounts. At the same time he hires a series of confederates who pose as evil penguins and masked jokers. Even a "girl friend" hooker dressed like a cat. A Bat Light which has always vexed the local zoning commission. Alfred indulges the boys hero complex and buys him cool clothes and Ninja lessons.

Finally, Alfred fakes his own death. The destruction of Wayne Manor destroys all links to his fraud. Alfred is now living in a hidden tropical paradise investing the bulk of his wealth in Bogus Life Extension therapies and Cryogenics.

The End!
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
