How about the police report? You know, the one in which the elder McMichael told the cops that his reason for chasing Aubrey was that he was running, not that he witnessed a crime.
Not witnessing a crime makes a citizen’s arrest in Georgia illegal. You can’t chase someone while you have a gun and then justify shooting them because you thought they MIGHT have a gun.
In other words, you can’t be exonerated for a crime you commit while committing another crime.
