It's been a while because alot has happened. we started to get orders, but then my service manager who was the only one left on the books (i was splitting my pay check in 1/2 to make sure he got covered as he has like 10 kids. and a huge house and mortgage. ) he was scrapping pallets on the side. and we just started picking up and had two major builds to do, and then he got a phone call wed for lunch saying there was a few truck loads of pallets so he and his personal helper left for lunch never said a word and never came back. I called the next day after 9 asked if he was ok he lost his mind, screaming and cursing said he was doing us a favor (he was being paid 1500 a week to be here and work) but still he saw it as a favor. I reminded he was management and he himself fired people for no call no show. came got his tools and left.
then we were bombarded with all kinds of work. my car lot manager who is not doing very much had to step in and help me bring back all the guys we retain/ all the guys to put out these refrig van orders. we have been steadily getting. we lost a few.
all in all Things are getting better. if we can keep this up till the end of the year we might make it.
side note
We are still looking to share office space with a sign and graphics company because i think it would help us and them out alot as we typical sell between 75 and 100 commercial trucks a year and every truck leaves here and goes to a sign and graphics shop for a full wrap or vinal lettering. we have that and or maybe a need for a body shop guy as well.
and now i need to hire some refrigeration builder guys.
