My bottom line is that while one should not discourage success or wealth, currently at this point in history wealth has too much power.
So if some here, not you per sey , but any posting here, have a logical issue on putting a cap on SSI when someone doesn't need it, then what would be a good solution?
I just don't see how someone like Jeff Bezos would be hurt if he didn't collect social security? I can however see how 40 years of his class basically getting everything they want 99% of the time as far as tax breaks and corporate welfare have added to the national debt long term.
It still remains his class are NOT the bulk of supply and demand that force businesses to hire more people. Workers are, the middle class are.
