@arewethereyet I actually got to meet the Ramones back in the early 90s. They played a gig at the Bayou club in Georgetown DC.
The truth about that band, as much as they came across as "doing whatever", I was invited backstage, and there were no naked chicks, no tons of bottles of booze or kegs. Nope, I went back stage, and it was either Joey or Dee Dee talking to my friend about finding a Micky Mantle rookie card. And what did I find back stage as far as refreshments? FRUIT BASKEETS AND SODA AND FRUIT!
