'Seeking' God

The magical thing about facts is that they are true if you actually want them to be or not. You may not understand certain things, but that doesn't mean it isn't a fact. The idea that a truth can only be revealed to you because you actively want to have an imaginary friend is insane.

The truth that I speak of, is the fact that God wants to move in your life, to change you and help you flourish. The proof is that he's already done it for millions of people, including myself, but the stipulation to meeting God, is that you need to believe in him first.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6 NIV

If you seek him, he will reward you by making himself apparent and he will change you. Fact. People who haven't met God are simply changed by religious rules and that kind of change doesn't last. Fact!

If you really want the truth are you willing to go against the tide, even for a moment, in case the truth is literally buried in what you consider "enemy territory"?

How exactly has that been going for you btw? Last I recall there was the sound of trumpets as reality faded into the background under the crushing weight of a myth you chose to believe in regardless.

Not too well...I have too many things going on at one time to really get it moving. My dad and I are talking about the doctrines that establish the 7th-Day Adventist Church, I'm reading some books on creative writing, I'm pregnant, so I'm feeling sick all the time and I can't get online too often. But I still have those books on evolution I bought written by people who believe it is true and it's false. I hope I'll get around to them someday...sigh..in the meantime, I read the Bible.

Are you aware of all the bad shit God does in the bible? Not stuff carried out in his name, but things he actually does? If you were aware, then you would realise the guy is a cunthole
