But seriously, it's not much of a comparison considering that the USA had much smaller army than Germany at the beginning of WW2, that German submarines were attacking American ships, that Hitler proclaimed war on the USA before Roosevelt proclaimed it on Germany, the Pearl Harbor, etc.
Although interestingly or not, back in the day it was the Republicans who opposed the war with Hitler - they were always anti antifa.
