It's not Islam that is funny; humans are funny.
Here we go again with the preferred magic books rant.  Hadith is islams workaround for progressive revelation.  It's all as silly as the initial claim, ofc.  I also agree that human beings are funny, which probably explains why islam is funny.  Consider the source.

There was no "crisis" with the understanding of the Quran which made a workaround needed; but there was a crisis with the meanings of the Quran that dictators and ancient Arab warlords rejected.

Their rejection of the Quran came as forging a new textbook called the Hadith, which is a collection of nomadic mumbojumbo that give dictators everything they need to rule forever, and do everything the Quran prevented them from doing -like having sex with kids-.
