It's a very different case from the fresh Islam, that has very obvious separation between God's word (Quran) and human word (Hadith).

God's word commands you to obey human word :

(4:59) O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you
So, tell me Winter, how do plan on obeying the Messenger, if you don't accept the hadiths ?

The messenger is dead.

( 79 )   So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

The Hadith is not written by the messenger; it's written by the hands of humans 200 years after the prophet's death.
So woe to whoever wrote it.
