A couple of favorites of mine.
The first, , is from Cape Verde, a small republic off the western coast of Africa, and performs in a local style known as morna, and is the best known performer of morna.

The second, , is a Finnish quarte who perform Finnish and Swedish folk music. Sadly, they are poorly represented on Youtube, and Levan Polkka was all I could find. It's a great song, but gives the impression that they might be a joke band or parody; their music is light-hearted and funny, but is no joke. Levan Polkka is off their debut Things Of Beauty, whereas I consider their sophomore effort, In The Moonlight the better album.

That's awesome, although a bit overwhelming. It would be great if you could put together a torrent of this. (beg, plead, whine)
