Actually, the number's closer to 2% of people. As I write this 2.18630285292% of people who have tested positive for the virus have died.
Yes, but that doesn't include those who have been infected but didn't get tested (asymptomatic or few symptoms). The number dead vs infected is probably less than 1%, but that is still a freak'n high number, considering that the virus could easily infect most of the country! And if you are older, that number goes up to 10% plus!
