The UN is not a private corporation. There are no "shares".
The link says just what he said, (and I said). It says one fifth. That's a majority of nothing.
We get you don't even know the basics of what a public company is and what shares actually are, and how Capitalism works and how NGO's work.
The members of the UN don't get more votes, depending on how much they give. The Security Council does have some "more influence", but it's not according to donations.
Obama did not roll over when they invaded Crimea, and I guess your buddy did the same for the Ukraine, except Obama put oil sanctions on Russia, (and Trump did nothing),
which was SO bad they needed to interfere with our election to try to get them (sanctions) reversed.
