Racists are not the only ones who distrust the media. Have you heard of this thing called alternative media, specifically progressive alternative media? You think they were cheering the media on as MSM was smearing Bernie daily? You think hippies and other drug users were cheering the MSM on as the media smeared them? Libertarians don't like the MSM. Conservatives don't. Many liberals don't. Anarchists don't. The protesters in the street attacked CNNs studio last year. Don't think they're too big of fans of the MSM.

9% in the US trust mass media a great deal and 31 % a fair amount. Surely you're not going to argue that the other 69 % of Americans are raving mad white supremacists.
