Nope, no bigotry here.
how stupid are you? the bar here is based on qualifications not skin color..
if you pass a more qualified person in favor of someone else based soly on the color of their skin... YOURE THE RACISTS!!!
By the very definition of the word!! everything you said is wrong and screams racist!!! you are suggesting picking a candidate for a job solely on the race and not qualification is bigotry?!?
again my way says race is not apart of the selection process only people who meet the bar/qualifications for a job will be considered. this could mean only black only white only latino or asian or it can mean a mix of all or genders. as the deciding factor is the bar/minimum requirements. and as a candidate's skill set exceeds the bar his opportunity to win this job also increases despite his race.
You are saying that if too many white people qualify a less qualified person of a different race, based on the number of white and their diversity alone is you deciding fact... this literally means you are lowering the bar for the non white people. because all whities had to meet or exceed a stringent standard but the minority is graded on a much lower bar because the color of his skin qualifies him to only be better than his contemporaries.
just incase you are still confused: racism
- n.
The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
- n.
Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
- n.
The belief that each race has distinct and intrinsic attributes.
Choosing people based on race and not merrit does indeed literally lower the bar/IE skill requirements and shows bigotry to the better skilled candidate.
