I mean, case in point, whenever we hear some sob story about how downtrodden and busted a believer was till they found god™ - they're just telling us that they were (perhaps still are) moments from flinging themselves off a bridge somewhere.
Of course, the Co$ doesn't so much as save people from flinging themselves off of bridges as make them take a personality test and tell them they're about to do so, even if they actually are the most well-adjusted people on the planet.
