What happens if he says no? Whatever his reasons for suspending judgment might be, they should be respected by the forum. It's disfavorable to stigmatize or punish people for their thoughts.
He wouldn’t be punished for saying he didn’t think Cosby raped anyone. And, no - such a statement should NOT be ‘respected by the forum’. It should be treated with the contempt and stigmatization it deserves for flying in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
What Huggy’s been saying all along is that it was right, proper, and legal to set aside Cosby’s rape conviction. This is NOT rape apologetics. If he were to say, ‘Bill Cosby raped a lot of women, but that’s ok’, he’d be appropriately punished.
