A scientist saunters into a Catholic church during the end of mass, all eyes on her as she approaches the altar where the priest is performing a ritual.
Once at the altar, she clears her throat at a disbelieving elderly man who had been chanting over a chalice. She stares at him unblinkingly until he finally moves aside.
She nods courteously at him and then places a small black bag onto the altar. She opens the bag, retrieves objects that belong in a laboratory, and then proceeds to perform a ritual of her own on the contents of the chalice.
When her experiment is complete, she turns her attention to the audience and states, "Fear not, it's just cheap wine."
