Our water here isn' t too bad. I get by with a simple sediment filter for drinking water - and everything else goes through a water softener to remove the iron..(drinking water goes thru a Britta pitcher as well) .. If you use our water unsoftened to wash whites they turn orange. Ditto the shower, sink and toilet - gotta use softened water or the rust stains quickly form.
Probably not much market for it.
Oh I was just remembering something I'd seen on the local telly about a farmer in Tasmania taking advantage of the rains there to simply bottle the stuff and thence sell it as, quite litteraly, 'Natural Rain water'.
Wasn't sure how wet or dry your part of the world is.
If you have an on shore breeze, might you be able to harvest 'Mist'? I think there's a South American place that's trying to do that.
