Actually, that's backward.  "Logic" or rather "reason" is simply a tool or methodology.  It doesn't create facts.  If you start an inquiry with bad information, or lack of information, logic can't just magically correct for that.

If you start with bad information, and you follow logic, you will almost certainly run into a contradiction.
