I can, at any time, click a couple things and blast you into forum oblivion. How is the view from you high horse?
Why are you so upset of words on a screen? How do you deal with opposing views in real life? Do you fight or do you take shelter?
It's not the words on the screen that bother us.
It is your lack of intellectual integrity and honesty.
We are willing, and enjoy the interchange with intellectually honest interlocutors. You are quickly proving yourself not to be one.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
