Let's discuss the story in the Bible which says how Jesus stole a horse.
Luke 19:29-36 tells us that Jesus told his gang to bring him a horse from a nearby town without being seen, but if they were seen, to inform the owner that they were taking his horse to their boss, a guy who apparently had a gang of 12 mindless "followers", ready to do whatever the "son of God" might require of them that people would simply hand over their loot without a struggle.
So the gang went to town. As they started to make off with the horse, the owner spots them and comes running out to find out what the hell they think they are doing.
So, they 'splain to the guy how it's gonna be. I guess you could say they made him an offer he couldn't refuse, and the guy caves and they depart with the guy's horse.

Luke 19:29-36 Wrote:29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, 30 “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
32 Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
34 They replied, “The Lord needs it.”
35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
