Seeing as we're discussing Moses; The good brothers who taught me claimed that "The Red Sea" which Moses divided was actually "The Reed Sea" and no more than six feed deep. Apparently god sent a wind, which pushed it back far enough for the Israelites to escape. Over the years, they came up with some beauties.
Except that creosote bushes are native to the desert Southwest of the USA.
