I probably spent way too much on games during Steam's winter sale, given how many games I already own, but I'm starting to find what kind of games really do it for me. I've recently invested in card battlers, tower defense games, and platformers / Metroidvania games. I haven't spent enough time playing the tower defense games to know if they're "the real deal" for me, but they're promising. Fast action isn't as essential in them, which fits my casual style well. But the platformers are a surprise. I had avoided platformers because I thought they would be difficult and frustrating due to my lack of fingers. But I concentrated on games with full controller support and I'm finding that I really like the gameplay. I bought the first Trine game yesterday, and I can't stop playing it. The mechanics and gameplay are awesome, and the graphics are totally gorgeous!
