Don't you think it's very hypocritical to go angry because the Quran says the hand of thieve should be cut; while Western countries keep skulls of dead people who resisted western invasions in museums? how savage, how cruel. But I won't return the F word.

One can think of all kinds of inventive ways to punish a human being, after all. It's good to know that cutting a thief's hand is not applied in all circumstances. Someone stealing food because otherwise he will die of hunger won't get his hands cut off, according to Islamic jurisprudence. The harsh penalty of cutting hands is only for those who didn't really need to steal and could've found a legit source of income.Whats your standard for determining whats "psychopathic" and what not?
Please no "book by divine being" BS; since you would need to demontrate
#1 the existence of that being
#2 the benevolence of that being
#3 the mental cpacities to make this determination by itself
Additional question:
After you cut the hand off a thief, what are his options for a "legit source of income"? Please explain whats going to happen after the psychopathic and sadistic maiming of this poor individual was done.

I'll hang up and listen.
