A decent interim suggestion, one I put forward myself on account of how potatoes are known sodbreakers. Fingerlings specifically. OTOH, we have high levels of infestation of potato beetles, particularly in the spring - as fingerling potatoes are coming to harvest.
No dice. There is no viable model of commercial potato production, of any kind (and that's ignoring the difference in price/acre in tobacco vs potato), in the state. Any other suggestions?
I say this with the benefit of higher education. I'm stumped...and I know alot about this shit. What can you do, what can you offer? What do your political proclivities have to do with those numbers? Is the anti-capitalist response to abandon the state?
