speaking of the undead, apparently recently the full process of death of sudden heart attack patient was captured on electroencephalogram. he had suffered an epileptic seizure and was undergoing treatment when he also suffered a fatal heart attack. his manner of death different from other EEG of dying patient because he had not suffered long period of declining health and organ failure during the process of death. The result suggest the brain continues to function at high level for much longer than anticipated after blood supply stopped. So the notion that a abruptly decapitated head can remain conscious for significant periods of time seems to have received a boost.
