Trump fan who defaced Pride mural forced to write 25-page essay on Pulse nightclub massacre
Admittedly, I'm not sure that the essay will work the way they hope it does. I bet he could easily describe why people lash out against gay people, since he just did so, and somehow, I get the feeling that when he goes on to talk about the 49 people who died at Pulse, he'll describe them (at the very best) as victims of the gay agenda, or maybe describing what he learned in the least charitable way possible.
And video of the incident here:
And on the off chance that someone makes a bad faith argument about how absurd it is that leaving such skid marks on the crosswalk is illegal since anyone driving on it can do so, notice how, in the footage below, it's repeatedly demonstrated that your average motorist can easily cross it without creating comparable marks.
Also worth noting, in the comments section of the video, I scrolled down to the 14th comment down before finding a single comment that was actually critical of the guy who did it. And as a testament to their observational skills, several people even made a joke about how he's adding a black stripe for black people, even though the stock design (apparently based on a simplified version of the Daniel Quasar flag) actually does have one.
Quote:A Palm Beach County circuit judge ordered Alexander Jerich, 20, on Thursday (21 April) to write 25 pages about the deadly Pulse nightclub shooting in 2016 that killed 49 people and left 53 others injured.https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2022/04/26/al...lse-essay/
Judge Scott Suskauer told Jerich that he must research the backgrounds of the 49 people killed at the Orlando nightclub and the loved ones left behind as a result of the tragedy, the Palm Beach Post reported.
“I want your own brief summary of why people are so hateful and why people lash out against the gay community,” Suskauer added.
