It occurs to me that the same people who have adopted a solution to their temporal suffering which is, a) cost-free, and b) requires no actual effort, in the form of vicarious redemption are also those who in the largest numbers have adopted a position on the existence of unwanted pregnancies which is also, a) of no cost to themselves, and b) requires no effort on their part. When you start talking about aspects of the problem which cost money or require actual effort, their "pro-life" stance is revealed for the vapid virtue-signaling that it actually is.
