There was no Earth until billions of years after the big bang, with billions and billions of worlds and events coming and going in between.  So no.  That passage is nonsense.

It's no revelation living things are made of water, since we dry up and die without it.  What about the 12% carbon in people?  That would be something.  But.  Right.  Silence.
