TheJefe817: if you want to believe in God, i think you can. but i think you have to start taking a more active role in the process of believing. what another believes has nothing to do with what you believe, nor over what you need to be able to believe: this is determined by you. so to be of a mind that someone else has to convince you before you'll believe, that they have final influence over what you will believe, i think may be a big part of the problem. i dont think the "God question" will ever be analyzed to the point where it can be beaten over someone's head almost against their will, nor to the point where believing will be any more of a "natural" decision than it is for you now. the decision to believe is always a choice, and one that takes practice even for believers.
