Not the 15,000 protesters they arrested (they would need gas chambers for that – they are not there yet - )
Quote:
“On November 13, an unidentified protester received the death penalty in the first instance of that sentence coming in the trials against people who were arrested for demonstrating. Five others were given jail time between five and 10 years, according to state media Mizan.
Iran Human Rights warned that "at least 20 protesters are currently facing charges punishable by death per official reports" and it has expressed its concerns that the Iranian government might move hastily with the executions.”
- Still, these are 21 death by pharaonic decree.
There are many names that are given to such people in the Holy book. The word “pharaoh” is mentioned 74 times in the Scriptures (It’s not a reference to any direct historical personality or civilization but it features some of the main characteristics of what is described as what I would call “inhuman way of ruling”). Another word to define such usurpers of political power by mean of religious belief is “Taghout” (Ar.: “Those who go beyond measure”), another is Nimrod / Tyrant (Tr. Zalim), waste and extravagance is described as one the key features of such personalities who are being referred to as “Musrif”, The Clergy who sides with such rulers are referred to as “Hamun” (Like the Amun-Ra priests of ancient Egyptian Pharaoh’s), The wealthy and powerful classes who walk hand in hand with such dictatorial rulers are referred to as the “Karun” (These are all Arabic terms who have all deeper symbolism in them). The whole dictatorial way of ruling is describing (in a book that I am currently reading) as a sadomasochistic relation between the ruled and the ruler, and the Holy Book puts the blame (as a greater sin) on any one who decides to remain silent and not assume responsibility when faced with such a tyrannical way of ruling. Silent consent to such a rule means to become an enemy of God (for there is but one God and you are to make a choice between the two “entities”. This type of religion is described as “Din-ül-Melik” or “The religion of the Monarch” (12/76). While the term “evliya” refers to a “friend of God” (a Saint) such persons are being referred to as “friends of the Devil” (in many verses) – Not the protesters, rulers who use religion as a way to strengthen their own tyranny -. “Raiyye” is the Arabic term used to describe animal flocks or herds of animals. The Holy books uses this term to describe the followers of despotic rulers and is clearly says “Do not transform yourselves into animal flocks” (2.104). A key feature of such regime is that it is based on the personal feeling of worthlessness of the supporters of such regimes and that such individuals who are deprived of a feeling of self-worth, are seeking greater personal achievement by joining the mass movements that are created by such despotic rulers (Erich Fromm – Escape from freedom). Last phrase: The Qur’anic description on this is “They were the ones who were oppressing their true selves”. There are also references to sold out Media-outlets, propagandists, trolls and brainwashers who are working for such groups of rulers. In the story of Moses, these are the charmers whose snakes are being devoured by the scepter of Moses (that is a symbolic for truth prevailing over lies according to some interpretations of this allegoric story). “Mushrik” or “those who commit the sin of “shirk”” is the other term I have mentioned here. This refers to God-Kings or to some “rulers” who receive messages from God or who understand God better than anyone else or who try to make a place for themselves in the 100% personal relation between the individual and the divine (again there are references to that too). Also, in the Story of Moses the prophet is being accused by the “Hamun”(s) of having the intention of “creating corruption on earth” (like the “corruption on Earth” trial of Iran) (A’Raf - 10. 127). Another term used for the ruling class of religious dictatorships is “Tugyan” and means “Those who go very far in oppression, blasphemy, not knowing their true selves, extremism and extravagance). They are described in many places as liers, deceivers and cheaters / conspirators against the ordinary people who have a clear feeling of supremacy toward the ordinary man. The team of charmers, magicians, wealthy class and clergy around the pharaoh are referred to as “Mele” or the “entourage” of the pharaoh. “al” refers to the close servant (bureaucrats etc.) of the pharaoh. “Deb” refers to “tradition” as in the clergy who is struggling to oppress the people in the name of “Deb” or what is called “our ways”. And (Bakara) 2/193 “There is no enmity against anyone bu against those who fall into the mistake of committing oppression (or “Zulum”) and no enemy but tyrants / oppressors (Ar. Zalim)”.
Those willing to do more research on this may refer to this very serious Turkish Scholar (Yasar Nuri Ozturk – and the Book is called “The Pharaoh / A guide to recognizing modern pharaoh’s) whose works are being described in this website: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ya%C5%9Far...zt%C3%BCrk
- I think some of these books should be accessible in English through University Libraries But unfortunately as there are many good English books who are just not available in Turkish language, the opposite is also true.
/ So again, the current number is death penalty verdicts in Iran may be 21. But if my limited / humble research is valid. Than the number should increase. I agree with the Iranian parliament on that. And they should be tough too. Why aren’t they being tough?
