And another example of how computer integration goes awry. it was probably programmed to have the integral of 1/x be ln(x)+C as opposed to the correct ln|x|+C. There are two logarithms of negative numbers in this expression.The subtraction in the first should be the other way around and the second shouldn't be there at all. The use of complex numbers in a problem like this shows someone didn't do things correctly.
