However I do want to address this, even if it was probably said in jest.
You don't want to kill anyone for personal reasons, ever. Do not John Wick anything. Revenge solves nothing and you're still left with hurt/are spreading hurt. I'll admit that some people might deserve it, but while I don't believe in actual karma there is a kind of social karma that will get them in the end, because they will make themselves miserable.
No, you only kill in self defense to stop the threat because you have no other choice (in defense of others in immediate danger is fine too though.) If it comes down to them or you you pick you, and at that point you just do it like it's your job, like cutting the head off a chicken for dinner. You can always get emotional over things later.
Carrying and operating is a huge responsibility that many don't take seriously enough, and that's a shame. I know some get angry when we call them "toys" which is a bit excessive, but I can understand where they're coming from. I have fun at the range and they are fun to use under the right conditions.
Also, another fun fact. The limit for drunk driving is .08, and for pilots it's .04. For us gun owners the limit is just .02, so don't drink and shoot/carry.
It absolutely was NOT said in jest. Here's a thought - you kill for the reasons you want, and I'll kill for the reasons I want. This isn't something you get to lecture me about.

My original comment was meant more as a general statement to the peanut gallery. However your response makes me think something deeper is troubling you.
I mean if they deserve it and you're fine with the legal ramifications then sure, you do what you need to do. I'm reminded of Gary Plauché . The only real issue is that these days it might be kind of hard to get a jury that sympathetic.
The main question though is "is it worth it?" and hopefully that answer is no. Hopefully no one has to ask themselves that question in the first place.
