Well granted, power and greed are horrible masters to serve when considering the greater good of humanity.
If we assume, however, responsible leadership, would it be justified? I mean, even democracy assumes a knowledgeable, educated populace, which is lacking in many countries upon which it has been forcefully imposed to little success.
Or perhaps greed is necessary for the implementation of such an order! Why else would people unite if not out of self interest?
