RE: Fine Tuning Principle: Devastating Disproof and Scientific Refutation of Atheism.

In his earlier works, including Brief History of Time, Hawking repeatedly refers to God. In later life, I know what he said. However, the point is not his theistic beliefs or lack of them, but rather the well-documented scientific fact of fine tuning itself. Fine tuning means certain constants had to fall within exceedingly narrow ranges out of different possible values that would permit life, yet somehow, by "coincidence", did fall within those values.
Have you read Just 6 Numbers by Sir Martin Rees? It explains the issue fairly well and shows a Beneficent Creator is one plausible explanation for the data. Others have been proposed, but this is one.
As for what will ultimately become of the Universe, you don't know that. If Christianity is true, those who love God will go to Heaven and, in time, Creation and Nature herself will be finally restored. Obviously, if Atheism is true, then we're all going to die, and everything is meaningless in the long run. But the Fine Tuning Principle provides evidence to think that is not the case, because the Universe bears evident hall-marks of Loving Design.
