I am still processing the sad news, having only just learned of it. It's hard for me to feel much of anything with the more personal losses I've had to endure; however my thoughts go out to his family and friends. That all sounds a bit too harsh and clinical, so I'll add that I've always admired Mr Hitchens' style of oratory and writing, and any programme featuring him always guaranteed my attention.
