The Fight Againdt Ennui

How do you stave off the ennui and boredom?

I don't really know if I've ever experienced ennui (in any considerable sense, at least). I rarely get bored and always find something interesting to do. Even with no access to the Internet or books or TV, I will find a way to entertain my mind.

That’s me - I don’t get bored with things, I finish things and then move on to other things. As a performer, I did everything I wanted to do, then became a woodworker (primarily a luthier). I was done with that and now I’m a blacksmith. 

There’s no doubt in my mind that, at some point, I’ll have done all the blacksmithing I want to do and then find something else. Life is a process, not a goal.
