Burning books for a political statement?? Childishness !
You know how I feel about books Babe.
I totally agree!! Like I said and you know.."I am still upset over the Burning of the Library of Alexandria" but I also acknowledge the fact that paper will deteriorate and so a few books get burnt?? Big fucking deal. Books are so CHEEP in this century that they are almost worthless and they are easily replaced.
The VALUE of their (mass produced books) content is another matter entirely.
As I said thousands of books get remaindered every year, but that is just economics.
The burning of books though, that is a statement, "I fear what this book contains and it should be destroyed"
And when societies start the book burnings look how it usually ends.

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
