But I got to thinking ...
One, I've never actually burned a Bible - mostly because I just never had one handy at a campfire - or wherever I may have needed some kindling. And Two ... I never much cared.
Anyway the questions: Have you ever burned a Bible? If so why? If not - would you?

When I was younger - the only accepted way to dispose of a supposed blessed object like the bible WAS to burn the object
I have burned several bibles along with a number of other so called "blessed objects"
Note - as a former catholic - bibles NOT approved by the church - especially the King James versions - were considered heretical trash - and burning them was not an issue at all
