Maybe, that is a risk.
But again, it may be that such a risk, which I don't think will turn into WW3, is the best possible option.

Also nobody thought that the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand would start WW1.
But let's look at the numbers so we get a better perspective:

Muslims population = 2.02 billion
[b]Christian population = 2.38 billion[/b]
Jewish population = 15.7 Million

All three are awaiting an apocalyptic battle in Palestine, starting because of what Muslims call the Aqsa Mosque, what Christians and Jews call the Temple Mount.

Effects happen because of causes; like Domino pieces you just need an event to orchestrate the fall.
I expect that such location is very sensitive to all three religions, and Israel went too far in brutalizing natives, its allies didn't sense how dangerous the situation was from the beginning, traumatizing Gaza children for life and creating an eternal enemy.
