Other than the plane that hit the Pentagon, I don't seem to recall a lot of military targets involved.
Please, Winter, explain how there's a difference just because the hijackers weren't military and were Muslim.
Taking out the innocent is not acceptable but is a casualty of terroristic actions. Apparently it's okay if your people do it but you get your nuts in a knot when someone else acts in kind.
9/11 was a preemptive strike by Bin Laden to the "American infrastructure" because America "supported Israel":

Quote:Support of Israel by United States

In his November 2002 "Letter to America", bin Laden described the United States' support of Israel as a motivation:
Quote:The expansion of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of its criminals. And of course there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased. Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its price, and pay for it heavily.[16]
But Bin Laden's motive was blind. America itself did not attack Palestine directly; Israel did.
Why didn't Bin Laden attack the Israeli army just like Hamas is doing now?
Actually, Al-Qaeda enthusiasts used to curse Hamas and blame it instead.
BTW ISIS considers Hamas "Kuffar",
Instead; Bin Laden -who was funded by the CIA in the Afghan war against USSR- made a weak, useless attack on the U.S, that justified every imperialist crime it did in the region.
He gave the U.S army every justification needed to invade the Middle East, which makes me believe that Bin Laden was nothing but a CIA operative sent to Afghanistan.
That's the difference.
