I recall a day when I was working at the local Transfer Station and noticed a Wolf Spider's thin web spread across a square foot of ground. A small moth fluttered down and landed on the web. The spider sprung from its lair, which was a hole in the ground, seized the moth and disappeared down the hole with its prey. The whole event took a second or less.
