I think we are slowly reaching a point when a critical mass of people are starting to see the real issue. I found this interview on CNN. A Jewish (transsexual) rabbi is basically saying the things I am saying since the beginning of the conflict:

The IDF is has to have already done a lot of damage on Hamas infrastructure (whatever infrastructure that would be to begin with). The next logical step should be a ceasefire followed by the emptying by Israel of all occupied areas and the recognition of the Palestinian state.
Still, there are some events that people will not forget that easily (Like the savage display of the body of the teenager called Shani Louk in the street for instance). So this anger will need to find some sort of expression too. Yet if you want a solution. I don’t think there is one other than the mutual recognition of the rights of both people in this moment.
