Taking in migrants has to be done very carefully and in a planned manner. Germany took some 1 million Syrian migrants in 2015. But they needed the workforce and they have made progress in integrating foreigners. So they integrated another 1 million Ukrainians when the war started in Ukraine. France on the other hand took some 10,000 Syrians in 2015. A purely symbolic act.
So the only solution to this is Elon Musk and his “colonize Mars” program. Since (obviously) they are not able to live where they are, than through the use of technology, we should be able to give some sort of place to these people. That’s how I see it
